League: ENGLAND: Championship – Round 33
Match: 20:45 Sheffield Utd – QPR
Prediction: Over 1.5 Goals
Average odds: 1.35
Bookmaker: bwin
Result: 2:1 WIN!!!

Sheffield United’s charge towards automatic promotion is now dead in the water; and with inconsistency affecting their chances of a playoff berth, they must be professional against QPR even though the west London club is now all but safe from relegation and with seemingly nothing left to play for.
With 18 wins and 15 losses, QPR have a marginally better H2H record overall. This is also QPR’s first visit to Bramall Lane in nearly eight years, with a 3-0 win in August 2010 beginning the countdown to Sheffield United’s demotion to the third tier the following spring.
QPR’s away form is quite shoddy at present, with the club taking only four away points from the last fifteen available. Defeat today would mark the third occasion this season that QPR have suffered a run of three or more away league defeats.
If Sheffield United are leading at half-time, chances are, the Blades will win. They have led at the break 14 times this season – and have won 14 times!
This match should see both teams scoring. Sheffield United are without a clean sheet in four, while QPR have conceded first in six out of their last eight Championship games.
Players to watch: Returning from injury and courted by Premier League clubs, young Sheffield United midfielder David Brooks has been highlighted as an impact player by manager Chris Wilder, who says: “We’re delighted to have him back; particularly when there are enough games left for him to do some real damage.”
A stalwart QPR player, central defender Nedum Onuoha is an imposing figure but also a composed one, with a pass completion rate of 78% to date.
Stat attack: Each of Sheffield United’s last five home games (in all competitions) have been settled by just one goal, or have ended level.
QPR have won 25% of matches in which they have been given a less than a 20% chance of victory.
